The VAIO Duo 13 is a 2-1 convertible Ultrabook, with Sony's Surf Slider design allowing quick and seamless transition between tablet and notebook modes. Powered by Intel's 4th-Generation Core-i5 processor, the Duo 13 also makes full use of Intel's Connected Standby feature that gives the machine constant connection to the internet even when the device is in Sleep Mode. The Duo 13 also uses a new display tech called the TRILUMINOS Display that is based on Sony's own BRAVIA display technology.
The Sony VAIO Pro 13 meanwhile is an extremely light and thin Ultrabook that weighs in at 1.06kg. The chassis is made from uni-direction carbon fiber and features a Hexa-shell design that provides the additional durability required for a mobile PC.
Much like the Duo 13, the Pro 13 also makes use of the new TRILUMINOS display which allows the display to be output at 1,920 X 1,080 pixels. On top of that, the wide key pitch and stroke allows for a great typing experience, similar to that of using a desktop keyboard.
