Legendary American rap group Wu-Tang Clan recently
unveiled their latest album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.
Whilst this sounds like very good news, there is one very
big catch about it. There is only one copy of the album
made, and it is encased inside a silver and nickel box
crafted by a British-Moroccan artist, who is only known as
Yahya and is likely to be sold off after it makes its rounds
around museums and art galleries.
Before the sale happens, a group of fans who call
themselves “Fans of Wu-Tang The World Over” have
created a Kickstarter page with the aim of buying said
album, and have the album distributed digitally to those
who back it before its early June cut-off period. The owner
of the Kickstarter page pledged that in the event that they
do win the album, they have plans to donate it to a
museum so that everyone will have a chance to see it with
their own eyes.
