Samsung’s latest line of
entertainment devices, Samsung
broke records with their Samsung Curved
UHD TV U9000. Recently, at a specially
prepared media workshop, we were given
a better look at what the UHD Curved TV
can deliver and how it is able to change
the way we watch TV. The workshop was
led by Jason Foo, Head of AV and Michelle
Kwan, Marketing Specialist from Samsung.
We were first given a tour in the unique
Samsung Colosseum which was built out
of seven Curved UHD TV merged together
to create an out of this world viewing
experience. From then on, we were given
an in-depth look into the features of the
new Curved UHD TVs such as the unique
175-degrees viewing angle which solves
the problem of viewers
who sit at an awkward
angle not being able
to enjoy their movie
or TV programmes.
The curve design
also aids in glare management as it does
reduce the amount of light being reflected.
The Samsung Curved UHD TV also has
the UHD scaling technology which smartly
scales up material that is not of ultra-high
definition resolution and gives it a boost on
picture quality.
