you first start playing State of
Decay, you’d probably feel like it
was just another zombie-filled survival
horror title akin to the Resident Evil
series or even The Last of Us. But while
it shares many elements from those
games, it is actually quite different in
a sense as it takes the word “survival”
very seriously.
The story of State of Decay is
just like any other, a plague hits and
zombies are starting to fill the streets
and you play as one of the survivors.
Here’s where things start to get a little
different, instead of just playing one
mere character, you actually take control
of multiple characters and also have to
manage a community of survivors. After
earning the trust of your fellow survivors
via side missions, you can then take
control of them and this is a must as the
character you use eventually gets tired
and this causes them to lose stamina,
which is a bad thing as it hampers the
distance you can run and also how many
melee attacks you can perform before
tiring out.
