Sci-fi and fantasy not so
much your thing? Would you
prefer a book that is based
more on Earth and is filled
with heart-stopping
adventure instead of aliens
battling cyborgs and elves
slaying demons? If your
answer is yes, then
Uncharted: The Fourth
Labyrinth is just what the
librarian ordered. This novel
is a standalone adventure
and does not take place before, during or after any of the games.
In this story, after a romp in Ecuador, Nathan Drake receives a
call from his old friend Victor Sullivan to help investigate the
murder of a renowned archaeologist in New York City. From
there on out, it’s a race for Nathan, Sully and the dead man’s
daughter to race from New York to Egypt and Greece as they
have to uncover the astonishing discovery that got the
archaeologist killed. It appears that a fourth labyrinth was built in
another land and culture and like others before it, it hides
unmatched wealth and power but is also guarded by terrifying
warriors and a monster that was once believed to only be a
myth.
