Yet another game series that is itself an addictive piece of
literary work, the Elder Scrolls series has long been known for its
amazing fantasy world filled with interesting characters and
creatures and unbelievable events. For those who have played
the games, they can also tell you that the game itself is filled
with storybooks for you to
read and pass the time. But
here we have The Infernal
City the first Elder Scrolls
novel.
Taking place four decades
after the Oblivion Crisis, this
is after the event of the fourth
game, a huge unknown mass
appears off the coast of the
Black Marsh. This mass is
then discovered to be none
other than Umbriel, a floating
city with a shadow that
causes people to die and rise
again wherever it lands. After
receiving a cry for help from
a friend, Prince Attrebus Mede then sets out to save his friends
and also put an end to Umbriel’s destruction but as always,
things don’t go as planned. Throughout the course of the book,
readers will be treated to a cast of characters made up of the
different races from the Elder Scrolls universe and of course
plenty of action.
