TP-LINK Archer C60 Preview

Aren't five antennas a lttle bit much?
Ten years ago sure however now not so much. With everything
ranging from your fridge to phone have to be connected to
the net, even five of these might soon be considered
the norm.
I know very well what a router is but what does Dual Band imply?
The Archer C60 can relay signs over 2.4GHz and 5GHz
bands together supplying a cumulative velocity of upto
1350Mbps. Notice we say cumulative since it is the
combined swiftness of 450Mbps + 867Mbps on both rings.
Ah, which means this is where the five antennas enter into play.
You're an instant review! Three at 2.4GHz and two at 5GHz are
arranged in an alternate order which results in reduced
interference and much more stable dual band coverage. This also
gets the positive effect of maximising Wi-Fi coverage.
So for what purposes can I use both bands?
2.4GHz is perfect for daily consumption like mailing mails,
browsing the net or hearing music. 5GHz works
for latency-sensitive things like streaming HD properly
videos, participating in multiplayer game titles and video tutorial chats or
conferences.
Can it do anything to solve the awkwardness of whenever a
guest asks for network access?
Guest Network Gain access to has been designed to solve that exact
issue. You can show your Wi-Fi network without properly
starting yourself up to level of privacy issues. The Web UI is simple
enough.
Web UI? Ugh, always a hassle to setup a network.
The new web UI comes with an intuitive design which let us users find
every setting easily to see what's happening on their
network by way of a network map. It is even sectioned off into 3
different parts you start with Quick Installation for newbies, Basic
for intermediate users and Advanced for experts.
Enough but can I also control it using my mobile easy.
The TP-Link tether application has been created with you lazy
bums in mind. Using iOS 7.0 or and Android os 4 above.0 or
later devices, the easy user interface shows the position of your
device, internet surfers and their privileges. Link based white
list can be made which controls and limits access to also
the network for users in the kid list.
