Dell Malaysia recently launched
its latest line of gaming products
under the Alienware brand which
has been refreshed for the year 2015.
These new devices are the Alienware 13,
15 and 17 gaming notebooks.
The Alienware 15 and 17 Windows
laptops both come with the latest
technologies from Intel and NVIDIA
with both using the Intel i7 quad-core
processors and NVIDIA GTX 980M
graphics. In addition to that, these new
Alienware devices incorporates the new
Alienware Graphics Amplifier. Alienware
continues their tradition of premium brand
quality with the use of elements such
as copper, aluminium and carbon-fiber
composites for a rigid and performance
focused mechanical design.
Also showcased during the launch was
the Alienware 13 which made its debut last
year November, deemed as Alienware’s
thinnest laptop yet; inspired by Alienware’s
EPIC premium industrial design language.
It features an Intel i5 Core processor,
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M and 2GB
dedicated GDDR5 as well as an optional
2560 x 1440 QHD resolution with optional
touchscreen capabilities.
Announced in November 2014,
the Alienware Graphic Amplifier was
revealed here and it connects directly
to the Alienware 13, 15 or 17, PCI
Express Lanes allowing users to provide
enough bandwidth for a desktop gaming
experience. This device houses full length,
dual-height graphic cards with up to 375
Watts of power and features four powered
USB 2.0 ports.
