revolves around AMD’s new
graphics cards, ASUS decided to
give us a little break from the island based
cards and take us to space with their latest
iteration of the MARS graphics card that is
powered by not just one but two NVIDIA
GeForce GTX 760 GPUs.
This is actually the first time ASUS has
relied on a mainstream GPU to build their
MARS card. Previous iterations used dual
GTX 580 GPUs but if they were to place
a two GK110 GPUs on a single PCB, the
result wouldn’t be very pretty. But with
that being said, the MARS GTX 760 is a
true beast and a beauty at the same time.
The card actually uses ASUS’ patented
DirectCU II TOP thermal solution but that
has been given a slight makeover and
doesn’t look the similar to the standard
DirectCUII TOP design, which is a good
thing as this makes the card look very
unique.
